• We aim to manage and maintain amenity and urban trees, improving their environment and vigour, diagnosing pests,diseases and nutrient deficiencies and treating them where appropriate, potentially saving you money on unnecessary removal and replacement whilst enriching the landscape with healthier longer living trees.

• Trees growing in the urban landscape do so in relatively hostile conditions compared to their woodland and forest cousins where growing conditions are far more favorable. Roots can grow unimpeded, soils are not compacted by human activity and nutrients are more abundant as a result of natural nutrient recycling from seasonal leaf fall and greater availability of organic matter.

• Trees can and do survive and thrive for many years in our gardens, streets and neighborhoods but once an issue arises eg. crown die back, loss of vigour, yellowing of leaves, symptoms of insect infestation or foliar disease, a tree will more often than not, be unable to “heal” itself and its then that its environment counts against it. Maybe grass growing around the base of the tree,a small planting pit, altered soil/landscape level, a lack of organic matter or space for beneficial roots leaves the tree vulnerable and likely to deteriorate further.
